I started my entrepreneurial journey after graduating in 2002. I worked for a software company for about a year, but quickly discovered that I don't like to have a boss so I decided to quit and create my own business. I had the opportunity to learn the ropes while leading a small web design firm before making the big jump to really start my first official business in 2006. With my IT background I was helping people to fix their computer issues and at one point I even opened a physical computer store. Around 2008 it became clear that it wasn't a sustainable business model and I made a big switch towards consultancy. Doing SAP consulting for a year and then going all-in into SharePoint and later Microsoft 365. I carved out my own niche and did freelancing for the major belgian consultancy firms until 2020. In the meantime I made the brave decision to come out the closet as a gay man and finally started to truly live an authentic life! Covid messed up a lot of things for a lot of people, but it gave me the opportunity to pursue bigger dreams. I switched again, said goodbye to freelancing and started a digital marketing agency. In true serial entrepreneur fashion, that wasn't what I really wanted to do, and then jumped into Business Coaching, specifically for LGBTQ+ business owners. But the technical savviness was what my clients really wanted my help for, so after 2 years I made the decision to go back to my old love, M365 and all things technical, but this time with an AI angle! Titanify started in December 2023 and is now already more profitable than my previous business only after a couple of months. So it's safe to say, this is my expertise, this is what I'm supposed to do and my clients get great results. Moral of the story, keep building, keep searching, keep being an entrepreneur, it's a way of life, it's what makes us great!
